Welcome to the website of H. Eric Hartman, *art-man*, a sight-impaired artist from New Orleans. Self-taught, Eric worked for 10 years as a papier mache' sculptor achieving first regional and then national recognition for his work. In recent years, he has set aside his sculpture tools and turned his artistic endeavors to a new direction, impressionist oil paintings. If there's sun out, then Eric grabs his backpack loaded with everything necessary for a day of Plein Air painting.

Whether it is a new landscape painting, a whimsical sculpture of a New Orleans musician or in a Mardi Gras Float, Eric's unique vision, sense of composition and joy for life shines through.
